From where does mankind come? Gen. 1:26-30
Mankind is made in the image of God.
He looks like God and acts like God.
What is man made of? Gen. 2:7, Matt 22:36-40
Man has a body, mind, soul and spirit.
Man can see, hear, feel, taste and smell.
Just like God
What is mankind spirit or modes? Gen. 2:18-25; 4:1-15
Man can be happy, very happy, satisfied, mad,
angry, envious, jealous, with the desire to kill,
Patient, longsuffering, kind, gentle, love and hate.
He will work and help or be lazy and beg.
Just Like God. God is not lazy but will beg.
What are the basic laws for men to obey? Deut. 5:1-24; Mark 10:13-21
Worship, appreciate, and be thankful and grateful,
to God for life and it blessings. Be most grateful,
for the gift of Eternal Life thru Jesus Christ his son.
Love yourselves, then love your neighbor like you love
yourself. Honor and obey your father and mother. Do
not kill, commit adultery. steal, bare false witness, covet
any thing of your neighbors and don’t defraud or hold
back from your spouse or people you hire.
What is the Husband’s role? Eph. 5:23-29; I Cor. 7:1-5,
32-33 He must love his wife. Give himself for her,
work and protect her, be the head, submit to her and
think on the things of this world, how he may please her.
Ask her what she wants. Do not defraud or hold back sex.
What the wife’s role? Eph. 5:21-23; I Cor. 7:34
She is to love and obey her husband in everything, submit
to him, be a help meet (suitable), defraud not or hold back
sex, think on things of the world how to please him. Ask
him what he wants..
What is the father’s role? Prov. 22: 6- 22; 23:13; Eph. 5:4;
Titus 2:1-2 Love your children, bring them up in nurture
and admonition of the Lord and teach them all in this list.
Teach them to obey thier parents, do chores and teach them
a trade or two. Do not hold back the rod of correction.
Beat them with a rod they will not die. They must avoid
the appearance of evil. I Thes 5.
What the mother’s role? Titus 2:3-5
Love your children. Support her husband and his teachings,
teach the younger women to love their husband.
Be a good house keepers.
Who are the children to obey? Prov. 1:7-10; Eph. 6:1-3; I
Tim. 5:4 They are to honor and obey their parents,
help take care of their parents when they need it.
Fear God and keep his commandments. Eccle 12
God desires for man to live how many years? Psalms 90
God desires for mankind to live a happy and full life.
Threescore (60) and ten (70 years). Or man could
live four score (80 years). God allows for early deaths,
but it is not his desire.
What happens when a man dies? Luke 16:19-31
Since man consists of a body, mind, soul and spirit,
with his senses and emotions, the only things changed are
his body and fleshly desires. Man will have a spiritual body.
He will look the same and remember his life on earth with
the ability to see, speak, hear, taste, feel and think.
Where does man go after death? James 2:26; Luke 16:19-31
Immediately after the spirit leaves the body,
the physical body is dead. The spiritual body begins.
We will open up our eyes in paradise being comforted
or in hell being tormented.
This will happen before the Judgment day. Rev. 20:12-15;
I Cor. 2:6-11Eyes have not seen, neither have ears heard,
neither has it entered into the heart of man what God has
in store for man in heaven.
What must a man do to go heaven? John 3:14-21,
Rom. 3:23, 6:23 Believe and trust God. Believe and
trust Jesus Christ the Son of the living God.
All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
The reward of sin is death or hell. Now God is giving
out a free gift, which is Eternal Life. In order to get
eternal life, man must hear and obey the Gospel of
Jesus Christ. God has set up a plan whereby he will
forgive man of his sins and give him eternal life after
he dies. God so loved mankind that he gave Jesus Christ
his only son to be a blood sacrifice for God to forgive
man of his sins. God cannot forgive sin without a blood
sacrifice. Only Jesus’blood was good enough for God to
forgive the sins of the world. God requires man to hear
and believe the crucifixion and death of Christ and that
he was buried and the Sunday morning resurrection.
Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins. He was buried
and he rose on Sunday morning with all power given to
him in heaven and earth.
Christ will forgive the sins of all those who Believe the
Death, Burial and Resurrection Story. Then Man is to
die to sinful lifestyle – Repent-Be buried with Christ by
Baptism and then Rise to live a Christian life.
The baptism washes a man’s sins away. Christ adds us to
his church. Those who are Saved. Then we are to live a
Christian lifestyle until death.
By being in Christ, if we repent and confess future sins,
we can get forgiveness of those sins also. The blood of
Christ continually to cleans us of our sins. Christ promises
to be with us always even to the end of the world.
Jesus said I am the Resurrection and the Life, he that believeth
in me Shall Never see death. Matt. 28; John 3:16-19;
I Cor. 15:1-8; Mark 16:15-16; Rom; 6:1-7; John 8:48-51;
I John 1:4-10
Jesus was baptized. Matt. 3:13-17
In the Bible people were being baptized daily and the Lord
added them to the church daily. Act 2:36-47
Many Churches used to baptize once or twice a year; many
have stopped. Why?
The Church of Christ is the only one that baptizes every day
and every hour.
